It\u2019s a short collection in a limited print run from Dunhams Manor Press, just out. We are great fans of Matthew\u2019s almost unique style and approach to weird fiction, and have high hopes that this will further his reputation as a weird fiction front-runner. The collection contains:<\/p>\n It also features art by Dave Felton<\/strong> and Steve Santiago<\/strong>. Only available from the publisher in this edition:<\/p>\n One which, although it could be for anyone, will probably appeal to the writers especially. On November 17th<\/sup>, Crystal Lake Publishing will be releasing Where Nightmares Come From: The art of storytelling in the horror genre.<\/em> This book, packed with articles and interviews, discusses taking an idea from conception to reality\u2014whether you prefer short stories, novels, films, or comics.<\/p>\n The line-up of horror authors contributing to the tome includes Joe R. Lansdale, Richard Chizmar, Stephen King, Charlaine Harris<\/strong> and Tim Waggoner<\/strong>, amongst lots of other familiar names.<\/p>\n greydogtales<\/em> will be interviewing TimWaggoner<\/strong><\/span> about his work and his contribution to Where Nightmares Come From<\/em> later this November.<\/p>\n Adam Nevill<\/strong><\/span>, whose book The Ritual<\/em> has recently been made into a very well received film, has released another collection of his dark short stories, Hasty for the Dark<\/em> (31st<\/sup> October).<\/p>\n \u201cThese selected terrors range from the speculative to supernatural horror, encompass the infernal and the occult, and include stories inspired by H. P. Lovecraft, Robert Aickman and Ramsey Campbell.Hasty for the Dark is the second short story collection from the award-winning and widely appreciated British writer of horror fiction, Adam L. G. Nevill. The author’s best horror stories from 2009 to 2015 are collected here for the first time.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n We were there for the launch party at Fantasycon 2017 (in exotic Peterborough), and were impressed as usual by both Adam\u2019s modesty when talking about his work, and his dedication to the genre.
